History of the house

In 1993, a surging river scoured a cemetery in western Missouri, digging a deep hole and unearthed over 900 caskets. The remains of whole families were washed away. Searchers never confirmed recovering about 150 of them. Some of them found a new home in The Chambers of Poe

In 2005, Dennis Kingsolver the previous owner of The Catacombs (former name of The Chambers of Poe) was killed in a freak elevator accident while trying to upgrade the attraction.  He was just the latest victim the house had claimed
